Jonathan Dennett MSc DC

Jonathan comes from Bournemouth originally, after he graduated from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in 2000 he worked for 2 years in Milton Keynes.

In 2002 he was delighted to join David Davis in Ferndown as an associate, this enabled Jonathan to get back to his home town, friends and family. Jonathan considers his job to be an enormously rewarding experience with plenty of variety in his day. He has a special interest in treating sports injuries. As well as using traditional chiropractic techniques, Jonathan also uses dry needle acupuncture therapy for the treatment of many conditions.

Cycling is a passion for Jonathan, he also enjoys hiking, playing golf and keeping fit.

Debbie Pike ITEC

Debbie has worked as a holistic therapist for 16 years, having trained at Bournemouth and Poole College and Christchurch Adult Education Centre. She holds several qualifications in massage, as well as diet, nutrition and life coaching.

Debbie has a network of clients across various industries, including those in the sporting world, where she has worked with tennis players, runners and footballers. She aims to provide a holistic service, helping her clients to improve their health and well-being and offering nutritional advice where it is needed. Through constant care of the body in all aspects, one can maintain a balanced condition, sustaining low stress levels, increased flexibility, mobility and strength.

David Davis BSc DC

David, a local Bournemouth man, has a background as a residential care and nursing home proprietor since 1984. He decided to train as a Chiropractor initially to help residents with mobility problems, particularly after replacement surgery. He graduated in 1994 from the Anglo- European College of Chiropractic (AECC) and now owns the Ferndown Chiropractic and Sports Injury Clinic with his wife Sheena. David works mainly in private practice but also offers some of his time as a guest lecturer and clinic tutor at the AECC. He has also been approved as an external examiner to the profession's governing body, the General Chiropractic Council and assesses qualified chiropractors from abroad who wish to work in the UK.

David thoroughly enjoys assessing and treating patients of all ages, particularly those with wear and tear problems or sports injuries.

Did you know that, not only do we treat backs and necks, we can also help with headaches, shoulder, elbow and foot sprains. David has particular interests in sailing, running, cycling and keeping fit. David is impressed with his team of practitioners who offer a wide range of skills and often work together for the benefit of the patients.

Amy Tappenden MChiro

Amy grew up locally in West Moors and after initially training in Beauty and Holistic therapies at Bournemouth and Poole college, she decided to extend her skills as a manual therapist after receiving chiropractic care for her own health whilst in the working world.

Amy graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic at the University of South Wales with a Masters degree in chiropractic (MChiro). She is registered with the British Chiropractic Association and is currently completing a post-graduate training scheme with the Royal College of Chiropractors. Amy has a keen interest in headache complaints.

She is a keen horserider, having competed with the Poole and District pony club showjumping and mounted games teams. She also enjoys singing and walking her dog. Amy is looking forward to developing her career as the latest member of the chiropractic team.
